Our first guest was Mr. Marc Carena, the CEO of Metro C&C Croatia, who gave us the insight in how his company finds (female) top talent within its ranks, and implements tactics to create the best work eco-system.

Our second edition hosted our friends from the organisation Red noses. Mladenka and Zoran told us all about dual management –benefits and challenges, especially when it comes to female/male combination, and clarified if that is the reason for a company’s success, in this case, the success of Red Noses.

We had a lovely time serving equality for breakfast last Wednesday. Thank you Danijel and Sandra for sharing your experience with us! We continued our discussion about dual management and how Sandra & Danijel lead together Lipik Glas towards its future success.

We served Equality for Breakfast for the fourth time and it was delicious! We would like to thank all our attendees yesterday for joining us. We served equality for breakfast again with a little help from IKEA. 🙂 Thank you Ms. Hilde Van Criekinge for a great lecture. We gained insight in values, policies and tools IKEA uses to maintain and promote gender balance.

It was an honour to have Elma Mulaomerović, a PhD Candidate at prestigious National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan share with us her experiences and findings from her scientific research on the topic of how pleasant work atmosphere can contribute to the company’s success and what needs to be done to implement it in your own work environment.

In November 2017, we gathered in HUB 385 to celebrate our first birthday by opening a hot discussion topic: Thinking about the future and all it brings, can we start thinking about a human leader instead of a female or male one. How can we use all new developments the 4th industrial revolution is bringing to the table.

We discussed these questions and many more with our panelists: Mihaela Smadilo, Head of Talent and Culture in Oradian; Zvonimir Mršić, Croatian manager, entrepreneur, politician and former CEO of Podravka; Davor Runje, founder of Drap.
